Took my mother to the doctor today. Fortunately an easily treatable problem, but it was good I got her there early, the doctor says.

This picture was taken on my mother's 90th birthday, 2 years ago. Today her stepson, Fred Jr. (circled) died. It is a big loss for his children and his brother and sister.
